People whom I just met call me Lilian but my family and close friends call me Ian. My kids’ friends at school call me Brandon’s mom, Daniel’s mom, Jasmin’s mom or Thalia’s mom. Yes I have 4 lovely children who I think grow so fast. I still remember the first time I got interested into making cakes, that was when I have to make a cake for my eldest son when he turned 7. Now he is 18! Times flies…
I am a Filipina married to my danish husband for almost 20 years now. I met him in Manila while I was studying Pharmacy and right after I graduated in April of year 2000, we got married and moved right away here in Denmark. It was February 14 when I first sat foot on the Danish ground:) And i just love Denmark, it felt like I finally found a place I can call home. The first few years living here without my family was tough but things got better and we started raising a family. Things happened so fast that we already got 3 children in the first 4 years here in Denmark! Well it’s not because it isn’t planned, I love having big family and was actually dreaming of having 5 children but after 3, I told my husband that it is enough and we need to do something to stop. And since I was the one who took the pain of giving birth everytime so it’s just fair that he should go and get vasectomy. I wasn’t really fund of taking birth control pills because of side effects in a long run. But he didn’t do that until after 3.5 years, I got pregnant again. I was so sad and upset at first but as soon as we found out we’re having a girl again, everything change and was actually glad we didn’t stop at 3. Now we have 2 boys and 2 girls which you will see more often here in my blog.
To make my life story short, my kids and my family are the reason why I am passionate of all the things I do. I love learning new things and will continue to do so as long as I live. Every people I met along the way, gives me inspiration and I want to thank you all for being a part of my life (You know who you are).
I believed that what we know should not be kept inside us, we are here on earth to inspire each other and I hope I can at least inspire you with the things I know and help you by introducing you to my blog.
Life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes. Don’t resist them – that only creates sorrow. Let reality be reality. Let things flow naturally forward in whatever way they like.

My passion involves baking and decorating cakes, cooking and experimenting on different ways to prepare foods, planting herbs and chilis, making natural cosmetics, soaps, lotion and more. I also love paper craft and making candles out of beeswax and of course making websites and updating my blog. I do love playing guitar but only for relaxing purposes at home with my family. My whole life revolves around my children and the reason why I do things the way I do is all because of them. I don’t know what tomorrow brings, kids are growing and things are changing but one thing is certain – I will always find new things to learn!
